Imperial Japanese Army Uniforms

Only the cavalry squadrons of the Imperial Guard and officers of all branches were allowed to keep their uniform colors to certain ceremonies and social events until 1939.

The M98 (1938) was a modification more M90 uniform. The only chest tunic had a stand and fall collar, five buttons running down the front and two or more generally, four pockets interior scalloped flaps (depending) the manufacturer.
