What does hiding birds in painting symbolize in psychology?

If one paints two birds where one of them is portrayed to be hiding behind the other in such a way that half its face looks buried in the chest of the other, what does it tell about the one who painted it? What kind of interpretations could be drawn from it? Does it tell anything about the social or emotional character of the painter?

I really wouldn't think that you could infer much of anything without asking the person. It is possible that the individual intentionally tries to be secretive, deep, or a bit mysterious. Other than that, one cannot really say for certain what such actions are indicative of.
