How can i remove the finish on my guitar down to the wood and then apply a coat of lacquer so theres no paint?

I have an ibanez guitar that has a few nasty scratches on the finish, and while they only penetrate maybe half the gloss i kinda wanna take off the finish entirely and then apply a coat of lacquer so i can have a nice regular wood look to my guitar with no paint, how do i go about this?
